I just thought I'd write a little comment for all of you
that know my sister-in-law Candace. She had her baby
yesterday morning. She wasn't due until April 11 but she
gave birth at only 32 1/2 weeks. I guess she had an
infection of some sort that caused her to go into labor.
I am not really sure of all the medical details... but her
little boy is here early! Michael Lee Staheli weighed only
4 lbs at birth but is doing really well. He was on a ventilator
for one day and I think they have already moved him
onto some new equipment and he is breathing on his own.
He will be in the hospital for some time but if any of you
have a minute... leave her a little message on her blog!
She was definitely not prepared for his early arrival but they
are very happy that he is doing well. Anyway...welcome
little Michael Lee Staheli. You are our little miracle!

Wow, what some people will do to get out of being pregnant for the whole 9 months! jk, I'm glad he's doing well. I can't believe how tiny he is. Oh, and in case you missed my reply to your comment about a puppy in Vegas, haha Lex, funny girl! Tell me, if we WERE in that situation, would you get one too so our puppies could be neighbors??
It seems like I just found out she was pregnant! I am so glad he is doing well, and that Candace is ok? That would have to be quite a shocker.
What a sweet, tiny baby! They are really lucky that he's doing so well - that's fantastic. Amazing how babies can be born so early nowadays and still thrive. Thank goodness for modern medicine!
I am so glad he is doing good... how scary! I will for sure leave her a comment. And Jer only wishes he had thought of getting you a gift too! Silly boys. And I love your quote by the way! Oh, and I won't be there monday because we have a funeral in Circleville. So have fun with out us!
Lex... you cant take away the award thats really rude, I have been working hard to get that and just because Andrea is a cute little wife, its not my fault that poor little Wes has had a dry spell for 11 weeks,(if you know what I mean) you need to talk to my doctor! So that put a damper on our valentines day! Can I get another chance???
