It has been such a busy time! I thought after I graduated...
life would be cake. I couldn't be more wrong. Right after graduation, Anna and
I headed back to Indiana with my family. We spent the week there and had
an absolutely awesome time. I miss my family so much. It is so good
when we can go spend time with them. I have posted a ton of pictures.
I added some at the end of graduation that I didn't post. Life has been
very weird so far this summer. I am working full-time this summer.
Needless to say it sucks. It is the worst thing in the world to leave my
little girl. The only good thing is that she loves to go to Jill's house.
And I know Jill takes good care of her. Other than that... it completely
sucks. I will love the day when I can just sit home and be with her
all day. Hopefully, I will only have to work this summer and then I can
stay home. Anna is the best little girl. She has been getting into her
terrible twos lately but I still love her to pieces. She is so smart and
amazes me every day. We have been working on potty training for two
weeks now and some days are better than others. But my goal is to
stick with it no matter how many times she pees on the floor. Jill is so
good to help me with it while I'm at work. We have had zero social
life lately. Clayton and I are both working and there is never any time.
Any minute we get, we spend with Anna. But I miss all my friends!
Hi to all of you! I finished the Host and the Kite Runner. They are both
awesome books. I love Ian in the Host. He was so sweet. The Kiterunner
is a really good book. It has a little bad language (like four times) but its
amazing to see how the people over in Afghanistan live and what
they go through. It made me appreciate our country and understand
what people in Afghanistan have to go through. The bestseller was
made into a movie but I don't recommend watching it unless you read
the book. Wow... this is a long post! I'll be done now! One more thing... is
everyone loving the bachelorette?!?! I love it! But you guys know me...
My dad got out his handy dandy camera and took a few pics of Anna while we
were there. She didn't want anything to do with pictures but I'm proud
of how they turned out despite his rebellious subject.
Classic Anna picture.
My mommy. I miss her.

Anna B Up a Tree. She loves to climb trees.
Her new favorite thing is to find these and blow them. My dad caught a picture of her doing this.
This was the point when she was way too cool for pictures. She didn't want any more taken.
My mama and me. She's so pretty.
Me and my papa.
I was so lucky because I got to be their for my brother's prom. Isn't he hansome. My little stevie is just growing up... "tear tear". His date is named Alexis as well. But she prefers Alex. Thank goodness. No room for two of us! Just kidding.
Here's me and my little steve. He's such a man now. I don't like it.'
Me and my "little" brothers. We are all seven years apart. It's the seven year itch. I love them.
We went to a little park at a place called Green Acres. It is a little dairy barn restaurant and it has these cute little animals to sit on. It is classic.
I love her to pieces. She's so cute.
This slide is super fast. She loved it! She's my little dare devil.
This is the week before she started hating swings. She hates them now. Don't ask me why?
This was probably Anna's favorite part of Indiana... the jeep. She loved this jeep. It is so much bigger than the jeep we have at home and she loves that it has a real steering wheel. We couldn't keep her out of it.
My parents took Anna to a place called Bogey's. It's like a Chuck-E-Cheese. She of course loved this too. She was very spoiled while we were there!
Grandma Heidi and Anna. She is helping her earn some tickets!
I am officially allowed to play in the play place. I can climb it with my girl. How many mom's can say that??
This was Anna's favorite too. She was the only little girl in their with a million of seven year old boys. It was hilarious. She wasn't scared one bit!
Anna just loved Uncle Steve as you can tell. No, she actually warmed up to him by the end of the trip, once he lost the beard!
So....I'm kind of embarrassed to tell this story but it's too funny. I taught Anna the song... "My ding-a-ling." I don't know if any of you know it but it goes "When I was a little bitty boy, my grandma gave me the cutest little toy. Three little bells, tied on a string....she told me it was my ding-a-ling-a-ling." Anyway... Anna has of course memorized it and sings it everywhere... church, lines at the store, the airport. While we were in Indiana, my mom and I took Anna to a pet store and she found this little pet toy and goes "Mom!!! Look I found my ding-a-ling!" I was amazed because I could not believe that she actually took what she sings in the song and applied it to this toy. There are little bells and other objects tied on a string. haha. It was so funny. I'm really not a terrible mom. I promise.

After Graduation we went back to K town and had a little BBQ with some family. This is my first cousin, Hunter. He is a stud and Anna just loves him. He is so buff and strong. He pulled her around the house in this radio flyer forever. It was so cute. He's such a little man. I love it!
Hunter even pulled his sister, Brylie and Anna too. He's so strong. Anna loves these kids.
What a little stud. I need a boy.
K Town grads! (Most of us) They basically should rename the school. College of K Towners.
Anna got a little piano lesson in from Grandpa Chris between grad sessions.
The best part of the day... BENSON! He's a hottie.
My family. I love them so much. I really couldn't have graduated without the help of my hubby. He's the best father and husband. And little neens... who could ask for more?
My fam! They flew out from Indiana. Thanks for coming! They are the best.
The Cutler Crew! They all showed up too! I had a great cheering section. I loved it!

Wow that was a long post, but it must feel good to catch up. I've never been to Indiana, but it looks very green. It bet that was nice visiting your parents. I'm hoping to read the host this weekend. I've started it, but I'm not too far to get hooked. I saw the Kite Runner and cried, but my mom told me that the book was way better. I know what you mean about the whole pee on the floor thing. Maddy will be potty trained when I have enough patience! Good Luck!
anna looks stinkin' cute in those pics - i love the "too cool for the camera" one. Hey - hopefully sometime this summer we can see ya? let us know if you're ever down this way...
You have the cutest little family! Anna just makes me smile everytime I see pictures of her :)
Just so you know, maybe you do, but the baby my uncle kim is holding is Tyson's. His name is Jayden and he 4 mnths.
Steve!!! I don't like that he is a man either!! I am so blown away at how big he is, I love that kid. I am so proud of you for being able to play in the play place! Haha- I would be like a gargantuan gorilla in that thing. The kids would think I was trying to eat them :) Love your pictures!!
So... love the post, and I am officially hooked to the host, like you said it did get better. Anna is so cute in those pictures. I'm flying home monday, I may need to you pick me up, I dont know for sure if my mom will make it over in time but I will give you a call. Anyways, have fun.
Oh that was a fun post. Wierd to see you with long hair!! Your parents house looks like it is in a way pretty area, love it. You guys are just too cute and too fun :-)
I love the pictures of Anna, she is such a doll! Your trip to Indiana looked like a lot of fun, I bet it was nice to see your fam:)
We seriously need to do something...soon.
Lex, good to have you back! I've been a little vacant in the blogging world lately myself. What can I say, the Internet here in Vegas is hit-and-miss, you know how it is. I'm sorry you have to leave little miss Anna. I would hate that too. Take some vacay time and come to Vegas. The weather has been absolutely perfect and the pool is soooo nice! My dad will love to hear that you can offically play in the kiddie play place. And yes, I am watching the Bachelorette and I yes, I think of you every time.
Yea, it is kind of funny that we spent a SUNDAY afternoon on the Vegas strip. In my defense we went straight to the Mirage and back home. As I think I may have mentioned in a previous post...I HATE THE STRIP! To answer your question, the selling is going super and we are very glad we made the decision to come, although sometimes I'm still in shock that we are here because we were SO OUT! I will pray for fires (is that bad?) so don't go out and do anything rash yet, remember Smokey's advice, "don't play with matches!"
I am dying laughing that you are short enough to play in the play place with Anna! How fun :) It looks like you have been SUPER busy since graduation, but it looks like it's been fun and exciting. I am so happy for you to be able to stay home with Anna after the summer is over. I am also working full time right now doing rotations for school so I have a ton of empathy for you. It is the hardest thing I have done for sure- EVER. I am sure the summer will go by fast and then you can relax :)
