High School Tag!

We are back & kicking in Cedar City. The
holidays were short but great. :)
I promise I have fun pictures to post but
I have not got around to it yet! I will do that
in the next couple of days but until then
I saw this High School tag on another blog
and thought it would be fun. :) I love
remembering the good ole days.

High School Tag (Kanab) (Please appreciate my
coloring of the tag)!
1. DID YOU DATE SOMEONE FROM YOUR SCHOOL?
Yes.. a couple of guys.

2.WHAT KIND OF CAR DID YOU DRIVE?
94' Isuzu Red Rodeo. Good times in that car.

3. DID YOU PASS YOUR DRIVER'S LICENSE TEST YOUR FIRST TRY?
Sadly, I'm embarrassed to say I did not pass the first try. I did not yield
to oncoming traffic while making a left turn. I guess that is a big no no. (haha)
I was so sad that my mom let me stay home from school.

4. WERE YOU A PARTY ANIMAL?
Not really? I liked to have fun with my friends but I wasn't like a "partier"

5. WERE YOU CONSIDERED A FLIRT?
Yes...another embarrassing fact. I was voted "Heartbreaker" my junior year.

6. WERE YOU IN BAND, ORCHESTRA, OR CHOIR?
I was in orchestra my freshmen year. I played the good ole violin since 5th grade.

7. WERE YOU A NERD?
Haha.. probably but I tried not to be. That's why I quit playing the violin after my freshmen year. But I have to say.. Charlene and I took the ACT like a million times because we thought it was "fun".

8. WERE YOU ON ANY VARSITY TEAMS?
Yes... Varsity cross country, basketball and track. The worst was my junior year when Coach Hal Hamblin would put me and Char in the varsity games with like 3 seconds left. SOO SOO embarrassing. haha.

9. DID YOU EVER GET SUSPENDED/EXPELLED?
No way. Mr. Jacobs loved me.

10. CAN YOU STILL SING THE FIGHT SONG?
Oh ya! K Town 4 life!

11. WHO WERE YOUR FAVORITE TEACHERS?
I loved Mrs. Painter for Yearbook! Cando, Sarah & I would always ditch out for doughnuts! I also loved Coach Hal! Except when he bought me as a slave and made me feed his horses, grade papers, and bring him many cokes to practice.

12. WHERE DID YOU SIT FOR LUNCH?
Junction! Chicken fingers basket... yum. With Ranch and a lot of salt. Maybe a little ketchup here and there.

13. WHAT IS YOUR SCHOOL'S FULL NAME?
Kanab High School (AKA the best 2A school in the state)

14. WHAT IS YOUR SCHOOL'S MASCOT AND COLORS?
Mascot-Cowboy
Colors-RED WHITE SILVER!

15. WHO WAS HOMECOMING ROYALTY?
Lyndsey Willis, Ashley Drake & my BFF Sarah Cooper!

16. IF YOU COULD GO BACK AND DO IT AGAIN WOULD YOU?
I totally would. They really were the best days. I would kiss more guys,( I know that sounds weird) have less serious relationships and hang out with friends a ton more. NO BOYFRIENDS!

17. WHAT DO YOU REMEMBER MOST ABOUT GRADUATION?
I remember my hair catching on fire from the candle that we passed on to the juniors. I remember missing throwing my cap because I was trying to figure out putting out the fire in my hair! I also remember JR's talk in the library about how he was going to miss everything. Weird things that you remember.

18. WHERE DID YOU GO SENIOR SKIP DAY?
We went to LAGOON!

19. WERE YOU IN ANY CLUBS?
Yearbook! (Possibly the worst yearbook K town has ever and will ever produce sorry class of 2002!)
Webteam! (Cando... that is the funniest memory of my life.)
Monday Makeups (Does that count as a club? I was there every Monday!)

20. HAVE YOU GAINED SOME WEIGHT SINCE THEN?
When I got pregnant with Anna I gained like a million so yes. But I really think my face has thinned out since high school. Or maybe I have just cooled it on the salt and so I'm not retaining so much water!

21. WHO WAS YOUR PROM DATE?
Shaye Franklin Jackson... We went with a bunch of people on a sweet group date to Zion. It was fun to go to prom with a good friend! And my current sister-in-law did my hair for prom! Weird huh! Love her.

.22. ARE YOU PLANNING ON GOING TO YOUR HIGH SCHOOL REUNION?
I missed the 5 year but hopefully I can make the 10 year!

23. DID YOU HAVE A JOB IN HIGH SCHOOL?
Yes, I worked at ACS Smartsite. We typed things into the computer and it was such a sweet job for K Town. Ashley Brown, Sarah Cooper, Sarah Ramsay, & Jana Glover all worked there! I miss Ole Hornbeck.

24. WERE YOU AN HONOR STUDENT?
Yes! Charlene, Ashley & I took a million Ed Nets.

25. Did you take Seminary?
Yes, but I always had early morning seminary and I'm sad to say Sarah & I , we would ditch out and order Houston's sausage skillets. We were bad but they were so so good.

26. WHAT WOULD YOU CONSIDER YOUR MOST FUN TIME?
There are too many. Sarah & I driving by Tyson Glover's house every night, calling his house and when he answered we would say "Phone Tag, You're It" He would get so mad but it was hilarious to do it EVERY SINGLE night without fail. I'm like crying as I type this because it was the funniest thing ever. Or racing Kaleb Carling on his bike down the big Rancho's hill. Basketball was so fun and just hanging out with all of my good friends... (Sarah Rams, Cooper & Char)

27. WERE YOU CONSIDERED SHY OR OUTGOING?
I think outgoing? But I don't know?

28. ANY LAST MEMORIES YOU WOULD LIKE TO SHARE?
I just loved high school!

Okay.. I TAG EVERYONE... especially if you are from Kanab
because I KNOW your high school experience had to be the
bizzznomb!

This made me laugh so hard! I really didn't like high that much. I think it was due to the fact that I really hated Larriettes. haha I know that is so bad of me to say but oh well. I would have NO BOYFRIENDS either and I would so kiss more boys haha so funny that you said that. But I don't think I would do it again :)

KHS was the best HS. I was Harold's aid one year but never had to feed his horses. Get a coke, yes. I loved when I did year book because we got out of school for lame reasons. It is so funny to see that no matter when you went, things were basically the same. My HS tag is a bit down on my blog. I talk alot.

I love you Lex, seriously, you are so funny. I can't imagine Hal making you feed horses or get him cokes. That just doesn't sound like him at all....;) I love that you said you would kiss more guys! haha. That was a funny post.
