We had an awesome winter this year. Clayton was the frosh coach for Kanab High and Anna & I had a blast following him around while he coached his team. They did awesome this year and all the little boys loved Clayt. I think they only lost four games. He is going to coach again next year and I'm excited to watch again. It makes the winter go by fast. After we were done with b-ball we got to have a couple little dates before the baby came. Here I am two days before I had little Carsyn. I was 38 weeks. Doctor Ott decided it would be good to induce me a little earlier because Anna B was so dang big. He did not want me having another 8 lb baby or labor like last time. So I went in on February 23 at 8 in the morning and had 6 lb 13 oz Carsyn at 2:30 that afternoon. The delivery was wonderful and it really was so much better delivering a 6 lb 13 oz baby as opposed to my 8 lb little sweetie Anna. It was such an easy labor. I can't believe the difference.
This was the first time Anna was able to hold Carsyn and you can tell she was very unsure. She didn't even want to come into our hospital room at first but she eventually warmed up.
Here is Clayt's first real good look at Carsyn. She came out a spitting image of Anna at that age. We seriously could not even tell a difference between them at first. It was very weird. But we'll take another Anna any day. :)
Here is a lovely postpartum pic of me! Had to throw it in there. Giving birth is so beautiful....Right? haha
Sweet little Carsyn Jade. She has been a doll since the day she was born. She is so sweet and content. She sleeps great and hardly ever even gets upset. How'd I get so lucky!?
Anna got to come back to the hospital and see Carsyn again. She was a little bit more calm this time and loved her to pieces. They are going to be best friends. Anna loves her so much. She cannot wait for the day that Carsyn can actually play with her.
Carsyn coming home! She looked so tiny in her seat. The binky overpowers her too. She was just so small! I loved it! Too cute.
Team Effort. Nobody wanted to be away from her.
I love my little girls. I remember thinking before I had Carsyn how am I going to love another little girl as much as I love Anna but I do. They are both so precious and special. It is so fun to go through all the little stages again .Carsyn was born on February 23rd, the day before Clayt's birthday. He was a very spoiled boy this year. Not only did he get a new little girl but he also got a dirtbike. Don't ask me what I was thinking agreeing to such a thing because I don't really know. But he does love the dang thing. Unfortunately, two weeks after Carsyn was born he was in an awful accident. I had to go back to the hospital with a kidney infection two weeks after Carsyn was born. I was stuck in there for three days without my little girls. I couldn't even see them besides little visits to my hospital window because kids are not allowed. Needless to say it was awful but I finally got better and was released only to have Clayton get hurt two days later! The Kane County Hospital loves us. Clayt's accident was very traumatic. More for me than him because he doesn't remember a thing! He even forgot that he had a second daughter at first. It was very scary but he is better minus a shoulder injury.
This is of Clayton and Anna right after Clayt was released from the ER. Poor Anna was there for the entire accident... daddy unconscious, ambulance and freaked out mom. But she made it through like a champ and crashed when she finally got to cuddle next to him. Clayton doesn't even remember this pic. His short term memory was shot for a few days.
We were lucky enough to have Grandma Heidi come out for Easter this year to meet Carsyn and visit.
It was so fun to have my mom around. Anna loved every second of her nonstop attention from Grandma Heidi. Clayt grilled up some great steaks and we had a good time hanging out at Grandma Jill's house while my mom came to visit. I wish she lived closer. :(
The loves of my life. :)
We have had a lot of fun family trips since Carsyn has been born. I thought a second child was going to slow us down but we have still had a blast going places and doing fun things. We took the girls down and swam in St. George. Carsyn slept in her carseat. Anna & daddy played and I got some much needed sun time. Life is good. :)

YEAH finally a post! I've been checking all the time. Carsyn is adorable and super tiny. :) Glad everyone is doing well in your family too!
Too cute! What an exciting first few weeks you had! Hope things are going better. No more trips to the hospital.
What beautiful girls!! It is so weird to hear "Dr. Ott". He's a year younger than me and I don't at all remember him being a doctor!! My month early premie was 8lb 3oz. I thank her all of the time for being early. She's my youngest. It's good when they are really good babies and you can still do things.
I loved all the pictures! We had so much going to the pool and hanging out! Kate misses Anna so much! Hopefully, we will get to see you guys when we come home for the weddings!
